a2Tech360 signature event returns September 30 with keynotes from Dushyant Wadivkar and the hosts of At the Wheel, plus a full day of mobility innovation.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Ann Arbor SPARK today announced the return of the Ann Arbor Mobility Summit, one of eight signature events during a2Tech360, on Wednesday, September 30, at the American Center for Mobility (ACM) in Ypsilanti. The one-day summit will bring together leaders from industry, government, academia, and startups to explore the technologies, partnerships, and research driving the future of transportation. The program will feature a morning keynote from Dushyant Wadivkar, vice president and global head of Advanced Driving and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (AD/ADAS) at Woven by Toyota, and an afternoon keynote featuring a live recording of the At the Wheel podcast with Tu Le, founder and managing director of Sino Auto Insights, and Joe White, author of the High Speed Rodeo newsletter on Substack.
Advanced mobility encompasses the technologies and systems that enable the movement of people, goods, and information in safer, more sustainable, and more accessible ways. Under the theme “Advancing a Culture of Innovation,” this year’s summit will examine how breakthrough technologies are accelerated through collaboration across industry, public-private partnerships, and applied research while showcasing southeast Michigan’s position as a global leader in mobility innovation.
At Woven by Toyota, Wadivkar leads the global organization responsible for developing advanced driving and driver assistance technologies that are helping define the next generation of intelligent, software-defined vehicles. His keynote will provide attendees with insights into the future of automated driving, artificial intelligence, and the evolving transportation landscape.
“The future of mobility is being built through collaboration,” said Janis Seabolt, director of mobility programs at Ann Arbor SPARK. “From startups and global automakers to researchers, policymakers, and technology companies, our region brings together the people and organizations driving the next generation of transportation. The Mobility Summit celebrates those connections while creating new opportunities for innovation, partnership, and investment.”
Closing the day, the At the Wheel podcast will take the stage for a live afternoon keynote conversation. Tu Le and Joe White will explore the rapidly changing automotive industry, global market trends, and the technologies transforming mobility around the world, offering attendees an engaging and candid discussion from two of the industry’s most respected voices.
Hosted at the American Center for Mobility, Michigan’s premier proving ground for connected, automated, and next-generation transportation technologies, the summit gives attendees the opportunity to experience one of the nation’s most important mobility innovation assets firsthand. In addition to expert-led sessions, attendees will enjoy exclusive tours and demonstrations at ACM, showcasing the real-world testing environment where emerging mobility technologies are validated before reaching public roads. Ann Arbor SPARK works closely with ACM to attract mobility companies, foster strategic partnerships, and strengthen southeast Michigan’s globally recognized mobility ecosystem.
Additional sessions will explore topics including autonomous vehicle deployment, space as critical mobility infrastructure, and how next-generation robotics are making dangerous work safer.
