ACM is pleased to issue a Request for Proposal for the American Center for Mobility – EV Basecamp Phase I project. As described in the attached, the American Center for Mobility (ACM) has been awarded a grant from the US Dept. of Energy to help address issues facing the EV charging infrastructure.
The Phase I scope involves extending the existing switch gear capacity in what’s known as the Short Term Garage building to six new 480V, 200A pin & connectors around the exterior of the building and reworking one existing interior circuit.
Future phases of this project will include:
The fabrication of skid mounted electrical equipment creating moveable, flexible infrastructure to allow ACM to host various EV charging events for the EVSE manufacturing community.
Further expansion of ACM’s capacity to support the EVSE community by leveraging the electrical capacity available on site.
An on-site pre-bid walkthrough is scheduled for next Wednesday November 13th @ 11:00 am.
