Where the Future of Mobility is Tested
Some of the most consequential testing in the global transportation industry is happening right now at the American Center for Mobility’s 500 acre campus in Ypsilanti Township, Michigan, and much of it happens behind the scenes. As ACM marks 10 years since breaking ground, the nonprofit mobility and technology campus is operating at 90% occupancy of its 35,430 square feet of leasable space, with more than 200 customers served and 5,596 test hours logged in 2025 alone. Activity in 2026 is expected to surpass that.
As ACM continues to grow and build momentum, this 10 year mark reflects both the strength of the work happening on campus today and the expanding role the organization continues to play in the future of transportation.
