The American Center for Mobility (ACM) is recognized globally as the premier Smart Mobility Test Center for the advancement of transportation system technologies. Located at the historic 500-acre Willow Run manufacturing site in Ypsilanti Township in Southeast Michigan, ACM is focused on testing, standard, education and research for the self-certification of autonomous vehicles and other mobility technologies.

Mobility Research
The ACM research team works with public and private organizations to conduct important and scientific activities related to mobility technologies. Providing technical expertise coupled with the right kind of curiosity, ACM can leverage the use of its’ smart mobility test center to help research institutions develop technical plans and drive execution to ensure research results are comprehensive and accurate.
The ACM is regarded as a leader in research and development of emerging mobility technologies, recipients of multiple technical research grants from the US government. ACM research also works with universities and major automotive companies.

Event and Demonstration Facilities
American Center for Mobility provides automotive, mobility and technology companies a neutral, safe and confidential place to integrate their meetings and conferences with the ability to demonstrate and showcase their vehicle and mobility technology solutions in dynamic and configurable environments. The American Center for Mobility can accommodate small groups and up to 1000 visitors along with fleets of vehicles, including passenger vehicles, transit busses and Class 8 trucks, inside its’ smart mobility test center.
