New Michigan mobility grant opportunities now available for testing at ACM
The Michigan Office of Future Mobility and Electrification has opened applications for 2026 Real World Deployment and Test Site grants through the Michigan Mobility Funding Platform.
These grant programs are designed to support mobility and transportation innovation projects across the state of Michigan. Test Site grants are available to companies conducting testing and validation activities and require applicants to partner with one of nine pre-approved closed test sites statewide.
American Center for Mobility is a pre-approved closed test site and supports a wide range of mobility testing and validation programs.
Eligible projects can span a wide range of mobility and transportation innovation areas. Examples may include vehicle safety and ADAS testing, autonomy support systems, connected vehicle technologies, cybersecurity, and EV systems.
As a pre-approved closed test site, ACM can support project execution through on-campus test infrastructure, ADAS equipment, and engineering resources. ACM also works with companies to align testing plans, facility capabilities, and project scope to support strong applications and successful testing programs.
The 2026 grant timeline includes two application rounds. Round 1 applications are open through February 27, with selections and notifications expected in late March. Applications submitted after February 27 will be considered during Round 2, which closes in mid May.
Companies interested in pursuing Michigan mobility grant funding and conducting testing at ACM are encouraged to connect early to discuss project fit, testing needs, and facility capabilities.
