The American Center for Mobility (ACM), a premier global development center for advancing safe, sustainable, and secure mobility technologies, entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure(MOEI) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other parties last week.

The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure launched a smart mobility think-tank following the World Government Summit held in Dubai on February 13 – 15, 2023.

The think-tank will bring together experts and decision makers from the public and private sectors and academia to build and share knowledge on intelligent mobility, develop innovative transport solutions, and inform related policies and legislation. The new  venture was launched in cooperation with MOEI, Etihad Rail, Mohammad Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG), American Center for Mobility, and The Routing Company. Reuben Sarkar, President and CEO of the American Center for Mobility, said: “This think-tank will bring together the meeting of the minds to advance smart mobility and provide a forum where stakeholders come together to provide insights for the mobility sector in the UAE. Suhail Bin Mohammad Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, said, “The new venture will help achieve goals on sustainable development and climate action by reducing carbon emissions produced by the transport sector.”
